In order to let followers know more about the progress and latest developments of YottaChain project, YottaChain publishes biweekly reports of the project every two weeks, please pay attention!
Technology Development Project
1.The new incentive schemes of super node has been put online. The basic reward: block reward: vote reward is 6:2:2 under the new incentive scheme;
2. New voting mechanism of super nodes has been finished and put on the test network, but hasn’t began voting;
3. New version S3server terminal is issued and main contents include:
① Optimize the file download interface, batch upload file interface
② Add folder upload interface and file copy interface
③ After successful file upload, delete the cache file
④ Increase the file block concurrent upload function, improve the upload speed
⑤ More detailed log, to further optimize performance
⑥ Modify some bugs;
4. Adjust and optimize the database, improve the speed of data uploading, accessing and processing;
5. Solve the problem of excessive SN memory consumption during 5000 concurrent pressure measurement;
6. Release new version mine machine, modify some bugs and add more detailed logs;
7. Release new version of P2P network, improve performance and add the blogging function.
All in all, the technical team works hard day and night to solve the problems during the testing. New procedures are submitted almost every day, and the users, miners and super nodes participating in the test are also very cooperative to constantly update the data, even overnight updating is normal.
At present, the stability and performance of the system have been greatly improved. Single SN can withstand the pressure of 5000 concurrency, and the upload performance of single process on the client side has been increased from 140KB/s to 580KB/s, and the upload performance can reach 13MB/s by running up to 200Mb of test machine bandwidth through concurrency.
Progresses have been made in commercial applications
1.YottaChain Business Application Committee held plenary working conference
Recently, a plenary working conference was held by YottaChain Business Application Committee. Presided over by chairman Sun Wenming, the organizational structure of the business application committee was clarified. The business application committee consisted of standing committee, secretariat, technical support department, marketing department, application development department and other organizations and personnel, and the working objectives and specific work contents were formulated
2. YottaChain base of Dongying district, Shandong Province has quickened its landing pace
On August 16, YottaChain CEO Hou Yuewen, YottaChain ecological community committee Chairman Li Zhijiao, YottaChain business application committee Chairman Sun wenming, Yotta ecological fund founding partner Zhangfei, President Han Daguang, accompanied by the leaders from economic and technological development zone in Dongying city of Shandong province, invested and constructed “Yaota byte block chain industry base” and has entered into the operational selection and examination period.
3. YottaChain discussed big data cooperation with Shanxi cross-border e-commerce association
Zhao weimin, Vice President of YottaChain, Sun wenming, Chairman of YottaChain business application committee, ect., visited Shanxi cross-border e-commerce association, and held the Shanxi big data cooperation and exchange conference with Chairman Dai baozhu and Secretary General Liu jing at the customs clearance center of Wushu comprehensive bonded zone. During the talks, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on jointly building a big database in Shanxi and providing policy and guidance basis for the government and enterprises. After the symposium, they visited big data center of Shanxi cross-border e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce product exhibition area and shanxi foreign trade incubation center.
4. Yotta ecological fund investment in GTA gene chain
On August 16, the Yotta ecology foundation announced its investment in the GTA gene chain, and the two sides will further cooperate in the storage of gene data to advance the development of genetic science. GTA gene chain is also an important ecological application of YottaChain blockchain storage common chain in gene field.
A number of progresses were made in marketing activities
1. The number of YottaChain Huobichat community has exceeded 13,000 +
YottaChain cooperated with Huobichat — the blockchain social platform under Huobi and launched the “Red envelope rain” on August 14. Till August 18, the number of Huobichat community has exceeded 13,000 +. At present, the total number of coin-using community members in YottaChain has exceeded 130,000 +, and at the same time, the total number of community users in various channels of YottaChain has exceeded 1.3 million +.
2. YottaChain Mars was on the list of July’s Mars financial impact. The heat index is comparable with OKEx.
Since the launch of Mars in June, YottaChain has been adhering to the tenet of “high yield of high-quality and selected blockchain storage contents and analysis of industry insights”, with a total reading of more than 200,000, carrying the mission of blockchain storage industry, and will produce more high-quality content to serve the vast number of blockchain practitioners in the future.
Upcoming events
- YottaChain founder Wang Donglin will attend main Forum of “POWER 2019 Worldwide Developers Conference” held in Beijing on August 20, with 35 distinguished guests from academia, Internet giant and leading enterprise of block chain, to open the technology integration of block chain with 5G, artificial intelligence, and internet of things as well as frontier topic discussions including privacy calculus, distributed storage, open finance, Libra effect, BaaS rising topics.
2. Hou Yuewen, YottaChain CEO is invited to attend the “healthy piloting, technology gold-digging — human genome data storage and application seminar” held in Chaohu, Anhui province on August 20 to explore the road to the prosperity of GTA ecological development together with many industry guests. Since August 16, the Yotta ecological fund announced its investment in the GTA gene chain, and the two sides will further cooperate in the storage of genetic data to advance the development of genetic science.
3.Wang Donglin, founder of YottaChain will be invited to attend “ 2019 MiiX Global Blockchain application ecosystem developer summit” held in Shanghai on August 30, 2019, and will share understandings with many industry guests about blockchain technology innovation, trend invovation, application of ecological construction, DAPPBAPP development, security, the underlying protocol, cross-chain, DeFi, developer ecological development, bottlenecks and innovation of block chain development, the industrialization development of global technology.
