Technology Development Progress

1. Rocksdb is added to storage node database, which can improve the speed of data fsync on storage node;

2. Conduct spot check on unit modules independently decoupled, so that reduce resource occupation and consumption of SN;

3. Transport layer adds support for http protocol. Supported by http protocol, services have been split into download, upload, spot check, reconstruction and others to reduce SN load, thus improving reliability and scalability;

4. Increase query file list cache. Frequent file list query operations will result in excessive load on the SN group. Cache increase can reduce request to SN, thus improving SN stability;

5. Temporarily turn off cross-user deduplication, and cross-user duplicate files still need to be re-uploaded;

6. Optimize metadata management coding;

7. Modify some bugs.

Commercial Application and Eco System Construction

1. In April, we completed trial test of YottaChain enterprise cloud disk, as a result of which product is gradually stable, and various parameters are progressively adjusted. In order to find more problems and verify their stability, trial test time is extended to the end of May 30 by our development team. All partners and users are welcome to participate in this trial.

2. On April 30, the final version of sub-topic “Blockchain-based Distributed Storage System” initiated by National Development and Reform Commission has been submitted to the Big Data Alliance. The alliance will host a review meeting in due course.

3. On April 22, YottaChain chairman Alex Wang and other 3 colleagues visited Tianjin International Biomedicine Joint Research Institute, where they had a cordial exchange. Their visit was accompanied by Mr. Huang Yalou, secretary of the Party Committee of Research Institute, Mr. Li Hongliang, deputy director of the Tianjin Economic Development Zone Science and Technology Innovation Bureau, together with other responsible comrades from Medicine Research and Development Information Center, Research and Development Department of Platform, and Investment and Development Department under Research Institute. Alex elaborated YottaChain ’s remarkable achievements as a global storage public chain leader, and stressed that YottaChain is paying attention to sectors related to biomedicine and general health, and will actively explore new way of empowering industry through innovative technologies such as blockchain, which will accelerate industry development model for upgrading. The two sides have reached an initial cooperation intention through exchange and discussion, saying they will discuss and cooperate on practical application scenarios of blockchain technology in pharmaceutical research and development.

4. On May 6th, YottaChain ChinaScience StarChain Big Data Research Institute and Feimo Technology jointly released “Blockchain-based E-sports Platform White Paper 1.1”. ChinaScience StarChain Big Data Research Institute will design a blockchain-based incentive system and a collaborative architecture to Feimo Technology E-sports event platform and they will make joint efforts to tap e-sports market of hundreds of billions RMB.

5. On May 6, YottaChain mainnet, enterprise cloud disk and other blockchain application case materials submitted by YottaChain ChinaScience StarChain Big Data Research Institute successfully passed preliminary review of experts with Blockchain Special Committee under the China Communications Industry Association.

6. On May 8th, YottaChain ChinaScience StarChain Big Data Research Institute started to prepare filling materials for blockchain information service agency. Recently, it will formally submit filling materials to the Cyberspace Administration of China in accordance with the requirements of National Blockchain Information Service Management Regulations.

Remarkable Achievements in Market Campaigns

1. On April 29, YottaChain ranked №1 in coin circle hot search list. Since 2020, YottaChain has achieved many successes: data storage capability on mainnet has been rising, commercial applications have been applied, “Light Plan” airdrop activity has received strong reactions, projects ranked top position in blockchain hot search list due to their popularity. YottaChain, launched in August 2018, is a late bloomer, but it has reached milestones such as being the first to launch mainnet, first commercial storage services provider, and exceeding famous public chain Sia in data storage, all of which bore out its strength as a global storage public chain leader to chart a new course in blockchain storage era.

2. On April 27, Mr. Pekka, CEO of YottaChainMENA, was interviewed by Gulf News, one of the first English-language daily newspapers in the UAE, and the largest circulation of paper daily newspapers in the Middle East. Pekka mentioned in the interview: “YottaChainMENA can provide an optimal solution for solving long-standing data security and privacy problems in data storage industry. With more than 200 patented technologies obtained in the United States and Europe, which developed by YottaChain China team, we are confident and capable to provide all relevant supports for enterprises and government agencies in the Middle East. “

3. On April 30, YottaChain Chairman Alex Wang was invited to participate in CSDN Enterprise 101 Open Class. This course compared technical architecture of Filecoin, the most well-known storage public chain, and YottaChain, the most professional storage public chain, thoroughly interpreted relevant professional knowledge of storage and blockchain storage, explained blockchain storage will become an important part in digital economy infrastructure and forecasted industry trend in era of WAN storage. The class has attracted nearly a thousand viewers to watch online and caused widespread discussion.

4. At 20 o’clock on May 8th, at a online strategic cooperation press conference hosted by YottaChain and CVNT, YottaFund management partners stated: YottaChain and CVNT have launched an integration plan connecting YottaChain’s super-node system and CVNT’s system, based on bilateral recognition and trust for each other’s node system construction and node quality. We also bring benefits in the first period: YottaChain super node can become a CVNT node without pre-collateralization fee, and we welcome YottaChain super node to join the CVNT family with practical actions. In the future, CVNT community nodes can also participate in YottaChain ecosystem in various ways to support each other and jointly promote community prosperity. YottaChain is a global star blockchain storage project, and CVNT is a blockchain project initiated by a well-known community-YYeTs.
