YottaChain Project Biweekly Report (Feb. 3rd — Feb. 15th)

Part 1 Technology Development Progress

1. Deploy monitoring services in blockchain browser;

2. Optimize storage server registration process and include third-party storage server management software development;

3. Determine parameters and calling methods of new management interface in storage server, and develop new management interface;

4. Improve the compiling process of storage server project code and the automatic compiling of management module;

5. Enhance file upload and download speeds, and resolve known upload bugs;

6. Develop universal token (yotta.token) to issue smart contracts, add the functions of daily unlocking and free lock, and support the issuance of multiple tokens through one contract;

7. Complete YB test update and problem fixing

Part 2. Commercial Application and Eco-system Construction

1. Before the Spring Festival, ChinaScience StarChain Big Data Research Institute and CITIC Network Core Service Provider reached a cooperation intention, with both sides expressing the willingness of cooperation in the field of media storage.

2. Recently, ChinaScience StarChain Big Data Research Institute discussed and written the sub-project named “Distributed Storage System Based on Blockchain”, which is a part of major project “Digital Economy New Infrastructure” developed by National Development and Reform Commission.

3. On January 13th, Mr. Sun Wenming, Chairman of YottaChain Business Application Committee, led a team to communicate with leaders of 5 clouds providers appointed by government and leaders of several listed companies, showcased YottaChain’s technical advantages and business models, and discussed business cooperation methods.

9. On January 14th, Mr. Sun Wenming, Chairman of YottaChain Commercial Application Committee, led a team to communicate with Mr. Liu Yongxiang, the head of QingLuan Community of Chongqing, in which they thoroughly discussed the application of YottaChain blockchain storage and reached a cooperation intention.

5. On Feb. 9th, Mr. Sun Wenming, Chairman of YottaChain Business Application Committee, participated in the New Rural Innovation and Digital Village Symposium to explore how to apply blockchain storage in the new agricultural innovation.

6. A few days ago, Beijing ChinaScience StarChain Big Data Research Institute conducted in-depth technical communication with DingJia Technology, a subsidiary of China Electronics. Recently, products developed by both sides have passed the preliminary functional test and completed the joint debugging.

Part 3 Remarkable Achievements in Market Campaigns

1. YottaChain set up a RMB 1 million “Special Relief Fund to Fight New Pneumonia”, in a bid to subsidize YottaChain community users (including U fan, super nodes, ecological nodes, master nodes and their employees) who was infected with coronavirus and diagnosed with new pneumonia. Each confirmed patient will receive a living allowance of 10,000 yuan.

2. Through hard work in the past 15 days, YottaChain successfully donated a total of 5,200 3M medical masks to Hubei frontline Hospitals who are fighting with the epidemic on February 9th. The donation started before the Spring Festival, those materials were purchased directly from the original US factory and sent directly to the medical staff. Thanks the strong supports from Medibookr (US-based company invested by ShuSheng company) and Cainiao Logistics, we can overcame many difficulties in the donation.

3. On the evening of February 2nd (local time in Dubai) YottaChain overseas MENA team held the first offline promotion event and operation meeting in Dubai, which attracted local government officials, local investment funds, small and medium investors, technology elite and many entrepreneurs, enhancing communication and cooperation between YottaChain MENA and various local organizations.

4. On February 6th, Mars Finance launched the program with the topic “Industry Observation: China’s Blockchain Industry in the Gloom of Epidemic”, in which reported blockchain practitioners and discussed the industry’s status quo. In the interview, YottaChain expressed it has resumed work on time through remote office. The year of 2020 will witness industry-centered blockchain officially enter the market, through which blockchain and various industries will integrate together. Has experienced awakening, madness, and calmness in the earlier stage, blockchain storage will reach a mature period in 2020, during which it will shoulder the heavy burden of data storage, break through industry bottlenecks, and provide more secure and lower cost storage services.

5. On February 11, YottaChain received an exclusive interview with Golden Finance on “What is the current status of blockchain companies under the epidemic?” YottaChain said that in the fight against the contagion, blockchain technology can render support to public welfare management, government information disclosure, and epidemic scientific research. What’s more, token can be used to make entrance passes, because they have many advantages including non-contact in whole process, convenience in delivery and use, and anti-counterfeiting. People can work without going out if the certificate can be tracked on blockchain and electronic seal is promoted. The epidemic spurred a surge in online entertainment consumption, which will be accompanied by a large demand for data storage. In 2020, when big data is expected to explode, YottaChain, as a storage service and public chain platform, will face new challenges and opportunities and accelerate market expansion and facilitate commercial landing.

6. On February 3rd, YottaChain launched a fan welfare activity called “Question and Answer for YTA” in the community. As soon as the event was published, it attracted widespread attention in the community, and users actively participated in the QA interaction. During the event, users further deepened their understanding of YottaChain, built confidence and strengthened community consensus.

7. The pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus dented celebration of the Spring Festival, while in the face of the epidemic, Chinese people are trying to reach out their help. In order to express gratitude to community users, and to pay tribute to the front-line staff fighting the epidemic, YottaChain launched a short video solicitation campaign “Come on Wuhan”. After record a short video and invite friends to give a like, participant will get the opportunity to share the 10,000 yuan token reward. The event ends on February 29.

8. On February 12th ( local time in Dubai), the “Seventh Global Digital Economy Summit” jointly organized by YottaChain MENA team and the World Blockchain Alliance (WCEA) was held in Dubai, which highlighted by discussion related to blockchain’s cutting-edge technology, industry trends and hot issues and engaged many guests including investors in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as industry leaders of blockchain.
